The Maxum 2400 SCR is a very popular family cruiser that has been in production since 1994. Long production runs indicate that a model meets the needs of the buying public. The 2400 SCR is a trailerable family cruiser with the accommodations for overnight and weekend cruises. The cabin features forward convertible v-berth port side galley and mid-cabin double berth. The compact but capable galley is equipped with built-in microwave oven single-burner stove stainless steel sink and under-counter refrigerator. The enclosed head compartment includes vanity with sink and shower. Cabin comfort is provided by reverse cycle HAC. On deck we have a spacious cockpit with single helm seat double rear facing cockpit seating and forward facing transom seating. Helm is covered by the bimini top and a full camper canvas is included. A port side transom door gives easy access to the swim platform with transom shower and boarding ladder. Electronics include depth finder and VHF radio. bob is powered by 5.7L Mercruiser engine with Bravo III Duoprop outdrive and she cruises at 30 knots with a top speed of 35+ knots.
