Detailed Walkthrough
The Maxum 4100 SCR offers an inviting supremely comfortable seagoing habitat for both extended cruising and gracious onboard entertaining. I have had the pleasure of exploring every nook and cranny of this magnificent vessel and it is truly one of a kind. The engines alone will blow you away - very rare 420HP Turbo/Intercooled Cummins Diamond Edition Diesels with only 280 hours. In 1996 this owner spent over $100000 to have these engines installed and they have certainly stood the test of time. Please come appreciate the more than $130000 spent on extras and upgrades. Ten years after its debut compare it to any new cruiser of its class and you\'ll think twice before making a choice. Owner is very proud of 2005 survey: current fair market value $260000 with equipment; replacement cost $570000. Any and all issues raised were resolved. Board the 4100 SCR via an enormous integral transom platform...big enough in fact to accommodate a personal watercraft (or a kiddie pool). Lounge seating and wet bar invite dockside socializing. The fully appointed helm station with its electrically adjustable pilot seat burl wood wheel and wood grain accents accurately suggests a vessel of uncommon agility and responsive performance. Step below and you are greeted by a salon of extraordinary proportions richness and comfort. The feeling of elegance and spaciousness is enhanced by generous headroom and open access to an aft settee that converts to a private double berth. A gracefully executed tubular-frame stairway leads topside. Opposite the galley a four-place custom dinette converts to a third double berth. In the forward owner\'s stateroom are an island double berth and two wardrobe lockers. The head compartment includes vanity with sink Vac-U-Flush marine toilet and separate stall shower. Hardwood flooring defines the galley area which is complete with three-burner electric stove microwave oven dual-voltage refrigerator double stainless-steel sink and generous storage.
