THE BILLIE J III has many superlative features but the ones we think will be most appealing to the new owners will be the expansive enclosed sundeck that flows to the large cockpit. The bright airy sundeck has wicker furnishings teak and holly sole double leak proof windows ice maker sink bar and the entire area is heated and air conditioned. The cockpit has contemporary styling offering plenty of room for a crowd and features a hide-away grill. Step down one step to the large swim platform with very convenient and sizable exterior storage bins.The salon is quite large and the decor is subdued and sophisticated but not stuffy. Custom curtains valances and blinds offer varying degrees of privacy natural light and views. The salon also has a nice entertainment center and a 62 plasma TV.THE BILLIE J III has three staterooms. The forward stateroom has over/under bunks with a private full head. The guest stateroom features twin beds with a full head and the large master stateroom has a centerline queen with beautiful teak cabinetry and teak parquet floor. This stateroom also has a large cedar lined walk-in closet. The ensuite head features a jacuzzi tub. The reverse heat and air conditioning system in the master is completely new. The vessel has a well hidden safe suitable for weapons or valuables.

This vessel began life as a 60 Hatteras. The current owner added the cockpit and large swim platform. Hatteras designed the addition and had oversight of its installation. This addition included a 600g fuel tank for extended cruising range. The port engine has had a major overhaul that includes a new short block. Starboard engine majored with cylinder kits. 1850 RPMs cruises the boat at 12 knots. THE BILLIE J III has served her owners well with travels from Maine to Venezuela. She is very well cared for and ready for new destinations.
