1978 30' Ranger Sloop (RHH)
Engine(s): Universal
The Ranger 30 is a performance boat that also has cruising accommodations. Her design is IOR-inspired thus, a great sailing boat that is competitive in a race and also comfortable for a family cruise. Ratings and club performance results are available.
Her nicely varnished teak interior and cushions are in good condition. All running rigging is led aft. This vessel would appeal to any cruiser looking for a 30 footer, or a racer looking to go round the buoys during the week and take the family cruising on the weekends. She has been upgraded by her knowledgeable owner, and offers state of the art equipment (see new winch photo) for club racing as well as nice amenities for family cruising.
She is a winner in \"ready to go condition!\"
Accommodations
The Ranger 30 Walk-Through/Accommodations are special. Entering the companionway, to port is the galley light color counter top with convenient built in icebox, sink and a stove top that is easily removable. Going forward is an inviting large salon area with dinette. Just forward of the bulkhead is the head to port with a generous hanging locker across. Her V-berth is large and has additional storage. A conveniently located chart table and quarter berth complete this great layout. There is generous 6\' headroom in the cabin. Her interior shows real pride in ownership and continual upgrading. The cabin & berth cushions (Sunbrella) were all replaced in 2005. Lockers and compartments have been re-painted and the teak woodwork is well cared for, giving the boat a newer appearance than vessels her age. New interior upholstery (Sunbrella), new cabin lights and solar vent are interior upgrade examples. The head system has also been replaced. This boat is ready to go sailing!
