J David our classic Chris Craft, Roamer, Hardtop is a truly lovely vessel. Her lightweight aluminum hull has much better fuel economy than her fiberglass sister ships. She boasts an electronic anti-electrolysis system and a rich teak and mahogany interior throughout. Powered by twin, diesel, 333 TI Caterpillar's with only 1300 original hours. She cruises at 12 knots and will reach a top speed of about 20 knots. J. David has a brand new 8.5 KW Onan generator, twin 195-gallon fuel tanks, a Ritchie compass, Data Marine depth finder, Uniden VHF, Hailer, Handheld GPS, and Furuno Radar. Her full galley is huge and includes: Hot and cold pressure water, 125 gallon water capacity, a full-size refrigerator/freezer, an Icemaker, 3-burner electric stove, double stainless steel sink, microwave, twin 14,500 BTU central, reverse cycle heat/air combination units. Two staterooms, and a convertible sleeper sofa in the salon; she sleeps a total of six people. The beautiful master head (completely renovated) has dual access doors. The enclosed cockpit makes for a lot of extra room and entertainment area. She has been recently renovated with new Berber carpeting (beige), new Formica counter tops, mirrors and a fresh hull paint job, which included her bottom.
