M/V GRATEFUL is a well designed single engine trawler that offers spacious accomodations at a very affordable price. The Perkins diesel was completely rebuilt in 2005. Additional upgrades in recent years include a rebuilt steering system, new air conditioning unit, and teak swim platform. GRATEFUL offers great value and is reasoanbly priced for a quick sell.
Accommodations
Roomy forward cabin with double vee-berth, hanging lockers to port and starboard with shelf space above each locker. A Large opening deck hatch is situated above berth and opening ports are located on each side. Fully enclosed head compartment to starboard featuring a molded floor pan with seperate shower area with seat and sump. The head is also fitted with a molded sink with hot and cold pressure water, mirrored cabinet, opening port and manual marine toilet plumbed with a holding tank and mascerator pump. The galley is located to port. Two steps up lead and aft to the main salon which features a custom built entertainment cabinet to port. A sofia which converts to a double guest berth is further aft to port. The starboard side helm station has been removed to provide additional living space. The electrical panel is mounted outboard as originally installed. There are two swivel chairs and a table between on the starboard side providing a very comfortable place to lounge. The centerline of the main salon is open and uncluttered which provides easy access to the engine and generator compartment below the sole. A 16,000 BTU Mermaid air conditioning system with ducting to all cabin spaces was installed in 2005. There are sliding windows to port and starboard providing plenty of natural light and additional ventilation when desired.
