Description
The Mainship 40 Double Cabin is a roomy North East style cruiser (often called the Nantucket 40) that offers motor yacht space and comfort. The two cabin, two head layout offers room below while the large bridge and aft deck provide space to enjoy the sun and sea air. The bridge has forward centerline helm with captain's and companion chairs. The helm electronics include GPS, chart plotter, and auto pilot. An L-shaped lounge is aft of the helm for guest seating. The bridge has new canvas less than a year old. A few steps down is the aft deck with room for deck chairs, table and chairs, or whatever you desire to make your time on the water enjoyable. The Mainship 40 has wide side decks with salon access from either side, large foredeck for relaxing or fishing, and a swim platform accessed by ladder from the aft deck. The interior is trawler style with room and comfort for long stays on board. The large open salon has been refinished with new carpeting, sofa, and mini-blinds. The seating area is aft with breakfast bar port side overlooking the galley. The U-shaped galley features a new solid maple butcher block countertop with stainless steel sink, lots of storage space, three-burner range with oven, microwave oven, and full size refrigerator/freezer. Starboard forward is the lower helm station. There are two staterooms with the guest stateroom forward with v-berth, hanging locker, dresser, and shelves. The guest head is starboard with toilet, vanity, and shower stall. The master aft cabin is quite large with island berth, hanging locker, cabinets on all sides, new curtains, and ensuite head with toilet, vanity, and tub/shower. There is more than enough room to live aboard. Wayfarer is powered by twin 350 Crusader engines that cruise at 18 knots and have a top speed in the high 20s. She is equipped with a new Westerbeke generator for off-shore electrical power.
