Features The Luhrs 342 shares the same hull as the Luhrs 340. She is built with a solid fiberglass hull and the cockpit is large enough for a mounted chair. Being a 1989 model, this boat has the more desirable single stateroom layout with a more open salon/galley arrangement and an updated decor with an absence of any wood. The Luhrs 342 has a unique cabin ventilation system with hidden air intakes located beneath the forward bridge overhang. She is a good running boat with brisk acceleration.
Accommodations Forward aft of the forepeak locker is the master stateroom with a pedestal double berth and hanging lockers both Port and Starboard aft. Next aft is the head to port and stall shower to starboard. Next aft is the salon area with the galley to port followed by a convertible settee with sleeping for two. On the starboard side is the dinette/settee with the power panel fully aft. A sliding door leads aft to the large cockpit. A ladder on the starboard side leads to the flying bridge.
