Fountain builds a strong solid boat. It has a stringer system that can withstand the impacts of the sea and is tied into a fully cored hull. With a narrow beam of 8'4 you would expect a lot of roll but the flat pad design in the stern helps to minimize the roll.
The deck layout has a 50 gallon live well mounted center aft in the cockpit. The console seat houses a tackle center and an insulated fish box. The helm is laid out beautifully with excellent visibility. There is an overhead electronics box for all the hardware.
