30' ft Pursuit 3000 Express

1999 Pursuit 3000 Express w/Twin ...
The 3000 Express has been pursuit's most popular inboard model ever. She is the perfect combination of speed, economy, fish-ability and cruise-ability. This two owner boat that has had the best possible care. She is powered by twin 350cu inboard engines and is equipped with air, gen., hardtop, radar, autopilot, GPS, fishfinder, VHF and much more. This \"turn key\" boat represents the best value in the 3000 Express market.

Model History
When the 3000 Express was introduced in 1998 she was a huge hit. She had a 6 year production run from 1998 to 2003 and remains very popular in the todays brokerage market. Her relatively narrow beam and 21 degree deadrise at the transom, makes this an outstanding offshore boat with a very dry ride. Because of her narrow beam she is easily driven. The majority of the production was powered with 350cu gas engines. As comfortable cruising as she is fishing, this is a very well rounded boat.

Vessel Walk Thru
You enter the cabin from the sliding centerline companionway and down three steps. On the starboard side is the dinette with a beautiful teak and maple table. The dinette does convert to double berth. On port, the head is aft with the galley forward. An offset double berth is on the port side in the bow with a small hanging locker nestled to starboard between the berth and the dinette. The interior is richly appointed with plenty of teak and high end fabrics. The cabin sole is made of solid 3/8\" teak and maple. The cabinet doors are solid teak with louvers. The fit and finish is superb.

Mechanical Systems
The boat is powered by the very dependable Mercury 350 Magnum MPI inboard engines which are freshwater cooled. While this original owner boat has been actively used and shows about 1,600 hours, there has been no expense spared in the maintenance of the engines. A compression test was performed at the latest service and the readings were outstanding. This boat will stand tall to most rigorous mechanical survey; she is truly \"turn key\". (Note: These engines had the service bulletin upgrades completed in 2003 at 900 hours. The upgrades include the following new parts: heat exchangers, water pumps, exhaust manifolds, exhaust risers, exhaust hoses and exhaust tees. If you are looking for the 3000 Express, make sure that this upgrade has been completed.) Tides PSS Dripless Shaft Seals

Broker Comments
This is a beautifully kept boat that is ready to cruise or fish. While the boat does have bottom paint and has been stored in the water the last 12 months, she was lift kept, under cover, for her first 8 years. This is absolutely one of the very best values in the market on the popular 3000 Express and is ready to give many enjoyable hours of service to her next owner.
