Description The Bayliner 4788 Pilothouse Motor Yacht is considered to be one of the most popular and affordable pilothouse motor yachts ever made in the boating industry. This is a longer and slightly heavier version of the 4588 that debuted in 1984. The gain of overall length adds more usable space and more impressive lines to what was already a very handsome profile. In addition to the added length, Bayliner designers reversed the radar arch and softened the flybridge profile for a sleeker and more modern appearance. For many boaters, the three-stateroom, two-head accommodation plan is an ideal setup for living aboard. It includes a large master cabin forward, and a large guest stateroom amidships to port, both with double berths. Families with children will like the third stateroom with two single-berths, although cruising couples tend to use this cabin for storage. The guest/day head has a separate shower stall, while the master head has a separate tub/shower arrangement. Her raised pilothouse has excellent visibility that spans more than 180-degrees from side to side. The cockpit is sheltered from the sun by a bridge overhang, and her side decks are wide enough for safe and secure foredeck passage (a sliding door to starboard offers quick access to the to the side deck). The helm console is massive, and spacious enough for her terrific electronics package. Access to the flybridge is up a set of stairs just to port of the helm; there’s also a ladder in the aft cockpit that leads to the bridge. The spacious salon, with L-shaped sofa, teak high-low dinette table, two chairs, and the enlarged, U-shaped galley are on the same living level. From either space, there are great views out the large side windows and through the sliding door aft. “Dreamboat” has many options to offer: 11-foot Novurania tender with a 25-hp Yamaha outboard, automatic anchor windlass, beautiful teak wood, and joiner work interior, custom-made mattresses, custom shore power configuration, a very good electronics package, refrigerator/freezer on the flybridge, and many other options too numerous to mention. She’s powered by twin, Cummins 330-hp Diamond Series engines with only 932-hours of usage, and is ready to cruise; if your dream is cruising in, or living aboard a pilothouse motor yacht of this size, this Bayliner 4788 represents excellent condition and value, as her original owner has given her meticulous care, and she shows extremely well. Please give us a call for further details, or an appointment to view "Dreamboat".
