The 288 is built on a modified-V hull with cored hullsides and a larger interior makes for comfortable accommodations and sleeping areas for six. There are double berths fore and aft with privacy curtains and a convertible Ultraleather settee in the main cabin. The head is large, and the galley has a refrigerator and a microwave. The cockpit features a U-shaped lounge aft, refreshment center with a slide-out cooler, removable table, and an electric engine hatch. The double helm seat has a flip-up bolster for the driver.
