Malibu’s engineers have turned the center-mounted engine into an asset, rather than an obstruction. Now it’s a huge sundeck that houses not only the engine, but also a 15 cubic foot storage space ideal for skis, vests, boards, backpacks, you name it. The space above the engine even has a purpose, keeping towels, wetsuits or even pizzas warm.
