Solid fiberglass hull. Deck in excellent condition with new Awl Grip paint. All deck hardware rebeded with new fasteners. New Yanmar Diesel with shaft & propeller. New fiberglass fuel tank, new Racor filter and hoses. Complete new exhaust system. Rebuilt Skipper head with new holding tank & hoses, fresh water flush. The boat has a large cockpit, able to seat six people in comfort. The cockpit has wheel steering forward, which provides protection to the helmsman under the dodger, combined with high coamings for comfort and protection from spray. The wheel forward also provides for an emergency tiller that really works. There are two large cockpit lockers, port and starboard. In addition, there are two large lazaret lockers. There are wide side decks, making it easy to move fore and aft. The interior is traditional and comfortable, trimmed in varnished teak with holly inlay, white paint, and natural teak sole. As you descend the companionway steps, the galley is to port. A large working galley with extensive counter space, storage space, double stainless steel sinks, and huge, well insulated ice box. Opposite to starboard is a large double berth with an opening port, in the area of least motion aboard the boat when anchored. Forward of this berth is an aft facing nav station, with storage. Moving forward is the salon. There is a gimbaled table with drop leafs on centerline, and settees both port and starboard. Overhead are two opening hatches for ventilation and natural light. In addition, there are two dorade vents. Two pilot berths behind settees, and extensive storage. There is an oil fired cabin heater with hand painted tiles to starboard in the forward area of the salon. Forward of the cabin heater is a set of drawers, and across from the drawers is a large hanging locker, lined with red cedar, lit by a deck prism. The head compartment is next, moving forward, and is spacious and contains much storage. There is a teak grate and a sump and sump/bilge pump for using a solar shower. There are two separate bins for anchor chain and rode. There is a large opening hatch in the head compartment.
As a proven off-shore cruising boat, she is very comfortable and well thought as a day sailor as well, both on-deck and below. Recent survey states considerable higher value than selling price. Survey is available for serious inquires. Owner selling due to health.
