1984 43' BENETEAU USA German Frers Moorings

Late 1984 Model Beneteau Sloop Moorings Model

Paper Chase has been a two-owner boat after spending 5 years in charter. It has been exceptionally well maintained and significantly upgraded over the past several years. As expected, this German (Herman) Frers design sails like a dream and is easily handled by 2 people. Engine is a late model Yanmar 51 HP engine with 1750 hours and has been meticulously maintained. The enclosed photo will show it’s clean as a whistle and very easily accessible beneath the center island in the galley. Caribe L10 dingy and 15HP Yamaha 4 stroke engine included. A complete maintenance log has been kept for the life of the boat. This is a true blue water sailing vessel and handles rough water like a dream.

Accommodations

Below decks there is standing headroom of 6’6” throughout the boat. The double staterooms and en-suite heads forward and aft provide complete privacy for 2 couples on an extended cruise. The forward stateroom has a large V berth with hanging locker and built-in drawers for storage. The forward head has a shower, and there is a transom shower mounted in the cockpit adjacent to the steps . The aft stateroom has a king-size bed, hanging locker and built-in drawers. The spacious and airy open salon and galley makes the boat very accommodating and comfortable. All upholstery is dark green velour in like-new condition. The walls are finished in a satin varnish with contrasting high gloss on the darker trim. The cabin sole is a rich high gloss varnished teak and holly. All varnish work has been exceptionally well maintained. The large dining table (with drop down leaf) seats 6 comfortably. The engine compartment is under the center workstation of the galley which tips open for easy access and maintenance. The refrigerator and freezer are separate; the large freezer is located next to the stove, the oversize refrigerator is located on the starboard side under the navigation table. Above decks, the large cockpit can seat 10 comfortably and has excellent visibility all around.
