Vessel Walkthrough
Starting forward we find a full width v-berth double with lots of storage below and adequate floor space aft for changing. Port side of the berth is a wide storage shelves, aft and to starboard of the berth is a hanging closet with vanity sink set inboard of this, opposite and to port is an ensuite head, there are also two large drawers for additional clothes storage below the berth. Moving on to the salon to starboard is a full length bench settee with locker storage outboard as well as additional storage behind the settee backs. Opposite and to port is an U-shaped settee with centerline drop leaf dining table giving adequate dining seating for six and also converts into an additional double berth. Outboard of this settee is more storage.
Moving aft once again, to port we find an L-shaped galley with sinks located forward and work surfaces as well as stove and ice box located outboard, there is plenty of storage below the work surfaces, sinks and outboard of the stove. Opposite and to starboard is a stand up chart table with 12volt refrigerates ice box below and the breaker panel and the electronics and storage outboard. Aft and to starboard of the nav station is located a large head, sink and shower unit with plenty of storage. Lastly, located to port and aft is the master cabin comprising of a full sized double berth with drawer storage below, adequate changing area, full length hanging closet outboard as well as additional closet storage and shelf storage with door. The whole of the interior is finished traditionally using teak laminates, teak and holly sole and soft furnishings. All of the interior cushions were replaced in 2001 with high density foam upholstered with Sunbrella. The whole interior was just refinished with 4 coats of varnish. The hull & deck need some cosmetic work but she is a very sound vessel.

NOTE: 2007 Engine work: New heat exchanger, front seal, (3) engine mounts, crank pulley, all hoses & belts and exhaust fan. Alternator, Starter, Injectors and Raw water pump were
re-built . The engine room was modified with large access panels for 360 degree access to the engine, and new leaded sound insulation was fitted throughout.
Remarks
It's a great day when we find a super well maintained cruising yacht like Island Dreamer! The owners of this well respected Frers design have done numerous upgrades and undertaken a large number of big ticket maintenance items to present us with a very well equipped, including all linens, cleaned and bagged from towels to sheets and ready to go yacht at an extremely attractive price! There are hundreds of spare parts with many tools from electric grinder to pipe wrench. Also complete electrical kit, from bulbs, wire, connections, meters etc. cruising. If you desire a nice sailing, pedigree design in good overall condition that can take you where in the Caribbean you desire, take the time to check out Island Dreamer and you will be glad you did!
