~~~CATALINA 34 EQUALS, QUALITY, VALUE AND AFFORDABILITY~~~ The Catalina 34 offers an unmatched package for family coastal cruising. Accommodations have always been a strong selling point for the Catalinas and the 34 boasts a very roomy and comfortable interior. The Catalina 34 layout features a V-berth forward, a main salon, with starboard side dinette and port side settee, galley aft along the starboard side, chart table opposite the galley, a good size head along the port side, next to the companionway and the main cabin is aft/starboard and features an athwartship double berth below the cockpit.
For competitive sailers, a Catalina 34 sails well on all points of sail and posts respectable results on the race course when sailing to her handicap.
Accommodations
Starting forward is a large V-berth with custom mattress, hanging locker and drawers. The starboard U-shaped dinette has a center table that converts to a double berth. Across to port is a full length settee (single berth). The L-shaped galley is starboard across from port side nav station. The large head with shower is next and across and behind galley is the aft cabin with double berth. There is a teak and holly sole throughout and 6' 3" headroom.
