Vessel Walkthrough

Starting forward in the master statement we find a centerline double berth queen-sized custom mattress with a cushioned seat aft and to port followed by a large hanging locker. There are two drawers under the berth and storage under the seat cushions. On the starboard and port sides there are cabinets with shelves on top followed by the ensuite head and shower unit including a mirrored medicine chest and wall mounted full length mirror, just replaced in 2008. Boat also has stainless steel handrails. Next aft, on the starboard side of the main salon we find a C-shaped settee around the dining table with a cushioned loveseat on the centerline making comfortable seating for 8 people. There is cabinet and shelf storage above the settee and outboard. There is plenty of additional storage under and behind the settee seats.

The aft facing nav station uses the end of the 7 foot port side settee and has a large chart table as well as chart storage. Forward of the settee, is a very large storage cabinet complete with a 17'' TV/DVD player. Wooden handrails line both port and starboard of the salon. Starboard and aft of the dining table, is the galley with counter surface most forward, followed by the 3-burner stove with oven/broiler, next, double stainless steel sinks and then the top-opening freezer, front-opening refrigeration unit, as well as a built in microwave and wall mounted spice racks. There is plentiful storage below the work surfaces as well as above and outboard.

At the base of the companionway on the port side is the aft head and shower stall which includes a mirrored medicine cabinet with a full length wall mounted mirror new in 2008. Aft of the head is the double aft cabin to port, including a queen-sized bed with storage and shelves outboard. The wood paneling throughout is a beautiful cherry while the cabin sole is teak and holly. There are ample hatches and side ports providing plentiful natural light and good ventilation. The general feeling of the interior is one of spaciousness and elegance.

Description
Summer Wind is a proven example of a Beneteau's 461 owner's version. She has had only 2 private owners since new and has never been chartered. It is obvious immediately that both her owners have cherished her and maintained her to a very high standard. New teak toe rails have just been fitted for example. Her owner's version layout provides generous living space, this with her complete specification makes for surely a very comfortable cruiser and liveaboard. If it's a highly maintained, private yacht, of approximately the size you were searching for, you may need look no further; Summer Wind is awaiting you!
