Since 1986 the Catalina has built a well deserved reputation as a classic blend of performance, comfort and value. This boat, built in June 2006 & bought at the fall boat show, spent only ONE all-too-short season sailing on Lake St. Clair, MI. As such it is in like new condition and is an ideal family cruiser, which has great stability and is very easy to sail. The exterior is fiberglass and stainless steel for easy maintenance. Only the companionway boards are teak. It is the wing keel model and it has excellent fit and finish. This boat was produced by Catalina to decrease maintenance and increase reliability and comfort underway and at anchor. It has a 130% Genoa, roller furling, with in-mast roller furling main. All lines lead to the cockpit so it is easy to single hand.
